Aftercare Advice
It is essential that the aftercare advice is followed to maintain the perfect nails, as many problems are caused by clients not following aftercare advice. Regular maintenance is also recommended approxiamtely every two to three weeks to ensure your nails always look good. It is also recommended that instead of having infils on natural nail overlays, that the gel is removed and then re-applied to ensure your natural nail is always in good condition, also enabling you to chose a difference permanent colour if necessary. The only time infils are completed are for sculpted extensions as this helps to grow your nail to the desired length.
- Do no pick or bite your nails, as this can weaken and cause damage to the natural nail.
- Treat nails as Jewels not Tools. Do not pick or scratch things as this can weaken or break the nail.
- Always wear gloves when doing housework or gardening to avoid weakening and damaging the enhancements with harsh treatment and detergents.
- Do not pick or bite enhancements lifting, instead book an appointment for your regular maintenance check as you could damage the nail.
- Look after your new nails and treat them with care, especially if you are not used to having nails.
- Do not try and remove the nails yourself, book in for your nails to be removed professionally.
- When changing colours inbetween appointments, always use Bio Sculpture nail polish as these are made to go over permanent colours. If you wish to go back the permament colour or change colour again, make sure you use Bio Sculpture Dual Cleanse, as this is made especially for your gel nails.
- Remember to use hand cream as often as possible as this will keep your hands and cuticles in perfect condition.
